Doesn't he California government have better things to do. Here is an idea, just cut it all down, dry it and give it away, Drug Trafficing problem is resolved. You want to smoke weed, here ya go, free pot.
Whats the difference, we feed our kids ridalin, and other mind altering drugs, but they are ok, cause the pharmaceutical companies are major contributers to both political parties. So they get a pass, same with tobacco and alcohol producers. As long as the producers give $$$ to politicians, they can continue. Does pot kill more people than tobacco and alcohol, I bet not.
So we have created a underground industry, we cripple our police departments trying to deal with it, we have gangs selling it, give it away, at least until the drug trafficing has gone essentially bankrupt.
Then establish a program to ween people off the drugs. Or better yet pass a law that employers can refuse to hire you due to drug use. Without retribution, then you smoke dope, you go hungry, you need to curb the desire of the people, but locking them up in prisons for smoking a joint is rediculous and a total waste of tax money.
Let's revolt, Free Weed for everyone!
